NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE seeks an Insurance Finance Data Analyst to prepare and analyze financial working papers and reporting for insurance programs. Hybrid work option after in-office training. Not visa sponsored.

The role supports financial, accounting, data management, and reporting activities, coordinating with IT and Finance, and interacting with auditors and regulators. Strong Excel/Word, accounting knowledge, and 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience with Excel and Word; PC proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, reconcile, and interpret financial and insurance data from multiple sources.
• Prepare working papers, schedules, and financial or statutory reports for assigned programs.
• Process funding and loss payment requests and maintain cash controls, reconciliations, and intercompany settlements.
• Coordinate daily, monthly, and year-end financial and program information between locations and the Omaha office.
• Support maintenance and accuracy of Financial Database systems with IT and Finance.
• Assist with calculating reserves and IBNR allocations per guidelines.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheet and database tools to support reporting.
• Compile data and prepare reports for management, regulators, auditors, and internal partners.
• Stay current on insurance accounting and financial reporting practices.
