The Company Regulation Bureau is looking for an Insurance Examiner 3 to join our financial examinations team.
The Insurance Examiner 3 provides professional oversight of entities engaged in the business of insurance by performing auditing assignments in the examination of the financial and related business records to assess risk and determine compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
An Insurance Examiner 3 should have a foundational understanding of insurance, risk, and regulations to complete assignments independently or to review the work of other team members.
May function as an “Examiner-in-Charge” for less complex entities; audit other non-traditional risk bearing entities; train and advise staff; perform other related work as required.
May support members of management on NAIC working groups.
An Accredited Financial Examiner (AFE), Certified Financial Examiner (CFE), Automated Examination Specialist (AES), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation is preferred.
