Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking an Insurance Verification Rep at our Mirmont Treatment Center to confirm financial and insurance information collected during registration and ensure precertification requirements are met. Responsibilities include verification of benefits and eligibility, precertification for hospital admissions, and accurate documentation in Epic.

The role supports the financial counseling workflow.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, managed care rules, regulations and familiarity with medical terminology.
• 2+ years' recent work experience in patient registration or financial counseling.
• 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance information and eligibility to meet precertification requirements.
• Document in Epic system accurately.
• Support financial counseling and registration processes as needed.
