Silicon Valley Recruiting LLC is recruiting an Insurance Defense Civil Litigation Associate Attorney for an established Miami law firm.

The ideal candidate handles civil defense matters, drafts pleadings, conducts research, and supports trial preparation while working onsite in Coral Gables, FL. Experience in depositions and hearings is preferred and a strong client-service mindset is required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school required.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing required.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings and discovery documents requested.
• Ability to conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments required.
• Familiarity with civil defense litigation procedures and strategy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop well-supported arguments.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain organized case files and deadlines in a high-volume practice.
