The ideal candidate will manage complex civil litigation matters from inception to resolution in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Duties

• Manage a full caseload of civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing direct courtroom advocacy and client updates.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategies and case management.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies and maintain clear communication with clients and experts.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of prior civil litigation experience, with exposure to both Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• Strong advocacy skills, including proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Ability to take and defend fact witness and expert depositions with attention to detail and effective communication.
• Experience in premises liability, trucking, construction, employment, or product liability defense is desired.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
