Job summary

The candidate will draft coverage positions, manage additional-insured and indemnity arguments, take depositions, and prepare cases for mediation and trial, including dispositive motions. Requires a JD and NY bar with 3–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• JD is required and active NY bar admitted.
• 3–7 years post-bar experience in insurance defense, construction, or coverage.
• Experience taking depositions on liability files is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend construction defect, trucking, premises, and products claims in New York and New Jersey courts.
• Draft coverage positions and additional-insured / indemnity arguments on those files.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including dispositive motions.
