Job summary

HomeServices of America in New Brighton, MN is seeking a CSR Trainee for a six-month training program to learn day-to-day service and support for clients, with opportunities to transition into customer service roles after licensure.

You'll learn handling calls, advising on insurance coverage and risk, processing policy changes, assisting with claims and billing, and cross-selling. The program emphasizes profitability, growth, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensure: Obtain Property and Casualty License within 30 days of completing state pre-licensing course.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls from clients, underwriters and third parties.
• Advise clients regarding insurance coverage and risk management issues.
• Process policy changes and cancellations.
• Assist with claims and billing inquiries.
• Foster and maintain good working relationships with insurance companies and underwriters.
• Work with existing clients to provide quotes and cross-sell.
• Identify and report any HomeServices errors and omissions or DOI complaints.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
