Job summary

Incendia Partners in Southern California is seeking experienced litigation attorneys to join our team handling complex insurance coverage and extra-contractual claims. Candidates will manage cases across state and federal courts, working independently while collaborating with seasoned litigators.

This role offers remote, hybrid, or on-site options, a base salary of $130,000–$275,000 plus bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in California.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience in insurance coverage and/or extra-contractual claims.
• Strong academic credentials and proven litigation, writing, and research skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, including first- and third-party property and casualty claims, professional liability, UIM/UM coverage, life, health, and disability claims.
• Develop and execute discovery plans, including taking and defending depositions.
• Prepare case assessments, evaluations, and legal strategy recommendations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide practical, high-quality legal advice.
• Maintain consistent high-quality work while managing multiple matters simultaneously.
