• Taking and defending depositions and participating in court proceedings.
• Developing litigation strategies and case budgets.
• Negotiating settlements and advising clients.
• Maintaining accurate billable-time records and deadlines.

An established national law firm is seeking Insurance Coverage Attorneys to join its insurance services practice, with opportunities available for attorneys at different stages of their careers.

This position offers the chance to work on complex coverage disputes while working remotely from anywhere in the United States, provided you maintain an active California Bar licence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Advising insurance companies on complex insurance coverage matters and policy interpretation.
• Handling high-exposure coverage disputes involving professional liability, environmental claims, mass torts and other specialist areas.
• Managing litigation from initial investigation through settlement or trial.
• Preparing coverage opinions, legal memoranda, pleadings and substantive motions.
• Taking and defending depositions and participating in court proceedings.
• Developing effective litigation strategies and case budgets.
• Negotiating settlements and providing practical advice to clients.
• Maintaining accurate billable-time records and managing deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Insurance coverage experience or a strong related litigation background.
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical abilities.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and coverage disputes.
• Confidence managing client relationships and complex matters.
