Award Winning Law Firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3+ years of experience. You will provide advice on policy interpretation, analyze complex policies, and defend clients in claims and class actions. You will draft legal documents and stay current with case law. Requires NC license.

Qualifications

3+ years of insurance coverage experience.
Experience drafting coverage opinions across multiple lines (CGL, property, etc.).
Experience with first-party claims and coverage analysis.
Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions.
Licensed to practice in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters and policy interpretation
Analyze complex insurance policies and determine coverage obligations
Defend clients against bad faith claims
Participate in class action lawsuits involving insurance issues
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law and statutes
Collaborate with insurance adjusters and claims professionals to resolve disputes effectively
