Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance coverage experience.
• Experience with first-party property coverage matters preferred.
• Experience with policy analysis, examinations under oath, depositions, pleadings, motions, or mediations.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, team-first approach.
• Ability and willingness to provide a writing sample.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and complex first-party property coverage issues.
• Handle coverage matters from pre-suit analysis through litigation and resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions and examinations under oath.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other persuasive legal documents.
• Develop litigation and coverage strategies with experienced attorneys and clients.
• Participate in mediations, negotiations, and other dispute-resolution proceedings.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and coverage considerations.
• Manage multiple matters efficiently while responding to time-sensitive issues.
