This opportunity is ideal for a litigation associate looking to deepen their experience in insurance coverage and complex civil litigation while working alongside experienced trial attorneys on sophisticated matters. The firm offers meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to develop courtroom and case management experience within a collaborative litigation team.

Associates in this group work on a wide range of first-party and third-party coverage matters, as well as related liability defense and complex civil litigation. The role provides direct involvement in litigation strategy, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy
• Manage discovery, document production, and case preparation
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex insurance coverage matters
• Maintain strong client relationships and support ongoing case development

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of civil litigation experience
• Insurance coverage or insurance defense litigation experience strongly preferred
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
