Job summary

Greystone seeks an Analyst to join the Insurance Compliance team, handling organizational and insurance compliance for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan portfolios. The role emphasizes review of insurance certificates, data entry for risk information, and coordination with internal and external clients.

Ideal candidates bring a finance/ accounting background, knowledge of agency guidelines, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or three years of relevant work experience.
• Thorough understanding of loan documentation and agency guidelines for insurance.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with self-motivation.
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicing and insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance certificates/Acord forms and policies for compliance with minimal supervision.
• Perform comprehensive compliance reviews including blanket or aggregation analyses with minimal supervision.
• Enter property-related insurance risk information and related data into servicing system with data integrity.
• Process insurance waivers/exceptions/variances with supporting documentation.
• Communicate with internal and external clients regarding insurance payments and information requests.
• Prepare and process reports and forms related to insurance processing.
• Be familiar with Third Party Reports such as Appraisals, Property Condition Assessments, Zoning Reports and Seismic Risk Assessments.
• Assist with special projects and related duties.
