Job summary

Greystone is seeking an Analyst to join our Insurance Compliance team. This role handles the organizational and insurance compliance functions on the Post Closing team for our Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan portfolios in accordance with departmental policy and agency guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing certificates and policies for compliance, data entry, processing waivers, and communicating with internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or three years of relevant work experience.
• Thorough understanding of loan documentation and agency guidelines for insurance.
• Experience with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac servicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Insurance certificates/Acord forms and policies for compliance with minimal supervision.
• Perform comprehensive compliance reviews including blanket or aggregation analyses with minimal supervision.
• Review, verify and enter property related insurance risk information and related data into servicing system.
• Process Insurance waivers/exceptions/variances with supporting documentation.
• Communicate with internal and external clients regarding insurance payments and requests for information.
• Prepare and process reports and forms related to insurance processing.
• Be familiar with Third Party Reports such as Appraisals, PCAs, Zoning Reports and Seismic Risk Assessments.
• Assist with special projects and other related duties.
