Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous customer service or administrative experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Illinois insurance license or willingness to obtain within timeframe preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn agency management software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to insurance clients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Assist clients with policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage documentation.
• Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and timely.
• Prepare certificates of insurance and other required documentation for clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal team members regarding policy servicing needs.
• Support producers with administrative tasks related to new business and renewals.
• Follow all regulatory, compliance, and company procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Insurance team.
