Job summary

North Risk Partners is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support the Commercial Lines service team and Risk Advisors. You will manage day-to-day service requests, help maintain client relationships, and complete internal tasks to prepare for growth into an Account Manager role.

Under supervision, you will advance through training and responsibilities, building proficiency before taking on larger duties. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, Bachelor’s degree, and work experience in insurance or another service industry.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a property & casualty license.
• Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to build trust and respond professionally.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively while paying close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process tasks in the North Risk Commercial Lines buddy list.
• Assist the account management team by delivering quick and accurate responses to service requests in a caring and friendly manner.
• Accept, process, and communicate standard tasks such as certificates, endorsements, policy changes, motor vehicle reports, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Receive new policies, prepare policy books for account managers to review, and deliver to Risk Advisors as instructed.
• Attend and participate in agency service training meetings and scheduled coverage training classes.
• Develop positive relationships with partner insurance carriers.
• Enter client activity and other relevant information into the company's software system(s).
• Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissions.
