The main responsibilities of the CM Insurance Clerk are to ensure that authorization determinations are communicated to the Case Management staff, deliver excellent customer service, and provide clerical support to the department.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma required.

Experience: Customer service experience preferred; hospital experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities: The CM Insurance Clerk must be able to work independently, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and function effectively as a team member. They should seek supervision appropriately, organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, and interact courteously and professionally with all staff levels. Strong computer skills are essential.
