An established industry player is seeking a CM Insurance Clerk to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that authorization determinations are effectively communicated to the Case Management staff while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. The main responsibilities of the CM Insurance Clerk are to ensure that authorization determinations are communicated to the Case Management staff, deliver excellent customer service, and provide clerical support to the department.
Education: High School diploma required.
Experience: Customer service experience preferred; hospital experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: The CM Insurance Clerk must be able to work independently, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and function effectively as a team member. They should seek supervision appropriately, organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, and interact courteously and professionally with all staff levels. Strong computer skills are essential.
