Job summary

Greater Regional Health has a full time Insurance Billing Clerk position to bill all commercial insurance for Greater Regional Health and pursue collection until payment is made.

You will work with insurance payers to resolve denied claims and claims with errors and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing.

Preferred: knowledge of accounting and insurance; required: computer and phone experience and ability to work independently. Schedule: Mon–Fri 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job description

Greater Regional has an opportunity for a full time Insurance Billing Clerk. This candidate will bill all commercial insurance companies for all of Greater Regional Health and pursue collection of all claims until payment is made. You will be working closely with the insurance payers to work denied claims and claims with errors. The insurance clerk will also work cohesively with other Greater Regional Health departments to ensure accurate billing and services, and perform other work associated with the insurance billing process. Prior knowledge of accounting and insurance work is preferred. Computer and phone experience, as well as the ability to work independently, are a must! Tentative schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
