Veterans Roofing in Northfield, NJ seeks an Insurance Claims Specialist to guide homeowners through storm-damage claims from inspection to approved scope and completion of work. The role requires documenting damage accurately, reading policies, and communicating with adjusters to maximize policy coverage.
Responsibilities include on-site inspections, thorough photo documentation, submitting complete claim packages, and coordinating with production teams.
Total Compensation: [$55,000-$85,000] Location: Northfield, NJ — serving South Jersey Workplace Setting: Onsite and in the field
The Insurance Claims Specialist guides homeowners through storm damage claims from inspection to approved scope to completed work. When a storm comes through South Jersey, you are the person who makes sure the homeowner gets what their policy actually owes them.
This takes two skills that do not usually sit in the same person. You need to read a roof well enough to document damage accurately, and you need to read a scope and a policy well enough to hold a productive conversation with an adjuster about what the carrier missed.
The standard here matters. Our job is to document what is actually there, accurately and completely, and advocate for what the policy covers. We do not inflate claims and we do not keep people who do. A reputation for honest documentation is worth more to this company over ten years than any single claim.
Veterans Roofing was founded in 2021 by Marine Corps veteran Taylor Speirs and Paul Kabala. We protect South Jersey homes with disciplined craftsmanship, honest communication, and a service-first team culture that strengthens the communities we serve.
We are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor and BBB A+ rated, operating out of Northfield and working across South Jersey.
Our core values are how we hire, how we promote, and how we part ways:
