Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience tracking and resolving insurance balances.
• Experience with denial management and follow-ups in health claims.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and resolve unpaid claims using payor portals.
• Call insurance companies for denied or pending claims and follow up.
• Research denials and payor policies to submit reconsiderations and appeals.
• Document account activity and maintain accurate records.
• Handle medical records requests and coordinate with internal teams.
• Track payor issues and contribute to trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Posting, Contracting and Intake on account resolutions.
• Follow up with patients on outstanding balances including unapplied payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
