TwelveStone Health Partners is seeking a full-time Account Reimbursement Specialist in the Atlanta area to resolve unpaid claims and manage patient and payer balances. The role focuses on navigating payor portals, denials, and follow-ups to streamline reimbursement processes.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years in healthcare insurance collections, strong attention to detail, and proficient MS Office skills. Pharmacy/Infusion experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Three years of healthcare insurance collections experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with insurance denials process and follow-ups required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, investigate, and resolve unpaid claims via payor portals.
• Call insurance companies for denied claims and coordinate with commercial/government payers.
• Research denials and payor policies.
• Submit claim reconsiderations and appeals.
• Document account activity.
• Manage medical records requests.
• Track and trend payor issues.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Posting, Contracting and Intake on issues affecting resolution.
• Follow up with patients on outstanding balances.
• Other duties as assigned.
