The role requires proficiency with Epic EHR and strong analytical skills to maintain accurate account records. The position emphasizes cross-department collaboration, adherence to HIPAA, and meeting productivity targets while providing a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in professional billing follow-up or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Strong knowledge of Epic EHR and denial management practices.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct follow-up on outstanding professional billing claims using Epic workqueues.
• Research and resolve denied, delayed, or unpaid claims by communicating with payers.
• Review payer responses and denial codes to determine next actions.
• Coordinate with coding, registration, and clinical departments to correct claim errors and resubmit.
• Document all activities and communications in the Epic system.
• Identify trends to management for payer intervention.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics.
