Job summary

TwelveStone Health Partners is hiring for the position of full-time Account Reimbursement Specialist. You will resolve insurance and patient account balances and work with payors to collect on submitted claims.

Minimum three years in healthcare collections is required, with emphasis on denials processing and follow-up. High school diploma or GED is required. Pharmacy/Infusion experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of medical insurance collections experience required.
• Pharmacy/Infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance denials process and healthcare claims follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and resolve unpaid claims using payor portals.
• Call insurance companies when claims are denied; coordinate with payers.
• Research denials and payor policies; submit claim reconsiderations/appeals.
• Document account activity and maintain clear records.
• Process medical records requests and track payor issues.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Posting, Contracting and Intake on resolution.
