Role Description

This full-time, on-site Insurance Broker role is based in Buffalo, NY. The Insurance Broker will advise clients on a variety of insurance products, including personal, commercial, related coverage, ensuring policies align with client needs and risk profiles. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing coverage requirements, preparing quotes, comparing policy options, and processing applications and renewals. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance and financial products, coordinating with carriers, handling inquiries and claims-related questions, and documenting all client interactions accurately in internal systems. The Insurance Broker is expected to build and maintain a portfolio of clients through referrals, networking, and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including advising on policy options and navigating carrier products.
• Candidates should possess foundational Finance and Retirement Planning skills to support clients with long-term coverage and financial security needs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and resolve issues promptly.
• State-required insurance producer or broker license (or eligibility to obtain) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
