What Your Day Looks Like

• Communicating between clients and the firm to ensure engagement objectives are met.
• Overseeing firm objectives (engagement economics) and managing resources to meet goals.
• Providing guidance to identify and respond to engagement risks.
• Mentoring associates through reviews and performance feedback.
• Resolving complex audit and accounting issues.
• Reviewing financial reports and ensuring timely client deliverables.
• Updating the engagement partner on status and involving them in client issue resolutions.
• Developing technical specialization areas and serving as a technical consultant.
• Building trust with clients and identifying opportunities for expanded services.
• Fostering professional relationships for long-term business development.

What You Need For This Role

Ideal candidates demonstrate passion for client service, integrity, project management, and leadership. A sense of urgency is important in our fast-paced environment.

• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Insurance audits.
• Proven leadership and development skills for A&A associates.
• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master’s preferred.
• CPA certification and active license are required.

Cherry Bekaert offers competitive salaries based on experience and a high-quality benefits package, including bonuses, health coverage, retirement plans, and more. The salary range is $91,200 to $164,200. Salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
