Job summary

Newmark in Lower Gwynedd, PA is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to manage a portfolio of 80–100 property insurance claims from start to finish. You'll review loan documents, coordinate with borrowers and adjusters, and ensure funds are deposited accurately.

Primary duties include handling claim documentation, liaising with lenders and investors, and supporting the disaster recovery reporting process. Hybrid work in Lower Gwynedd is available.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a portfolio of property insurance claims from start to finish.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word; able to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Ability to coordinate with borrowers, adjusters, lenders and other parties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 80-100 property insurance claims from beginning to completion.
  • Receive and handle incoming claim funds for deposit.
  • Review loan agreements, third-party reports, and other loan documents.
  • Review all claim documents such as Statement of Loss, repair contracts, Adjuster Reports, fire reports, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, adjusters, insurance agents, Master Servicers, Lenders/Investors and others.
  • Utilize and work with vendors as needed.
  • Disburse borrower draw requests after reviewing invoices and lien waivers per lender guidelines.
  • Assist with the Newmark Disaster Recovery Reporting Process.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Initiates and participates in projects, system enhancement design and testing; documents procedures.
  • This position will be within the Lower Gwynedd, PA office on a hybrid work schedule.

Job description

Performs various tasks within the insurance team including the monitoring of insurance claims within our portfolio of loans to assure compliance with loan document and/or lender requirements; as well as meeting investor and borrower servicing expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships by working with borrowers, adjusters, insurance agents, Master Servicers, Lenders/Investors and other interested parties.
  • Utilize and work with vendors as needed.
