You will prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims for physician and ASC facility services, using Epic workflows to maximize reimbursement and ensure compliance with payer rules.

The role requires accuracy, communication with payers, and adherence to CMS guidelines, with regular attendance at the Stonemill location. Remote work is not available.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• College level accounting or business courses preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in medical billing in a healthcare related field.

• Submit professional and facility claims electronically through Epic and clearinghouse interface.
• Validate claim data and correct errors prior to submission.
• Confirm insurance coverage and coding accuracy prior to release.
• Resubmit corrected claims and follow up on denials/pended submissions.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA rules.
