Responsibilities

• Submit timely and accurate claims to health insurance carriers electronically or on paper.
• Process non-complex reconsiderations and appeals via paper, fax or web portal.
• Monitor and resolve unpaid, rejected, denied, and allowance discrepancy claims.
• Document collection activities comprehensively in the billing system.
• Resolve denied/rejected invoices and prepare payer corrections or appeals as needed.
• Research documents and eligibility using payer portals and clinical systems to substantiate corrected submissions.
