Polly, a leading embedded auto insurance marketplace, seeks a remote Sales Center Agent to analyze, advise, and sell personal lines policies from home. You’ll handle about 150 inbound leads monthly, cross-sell quotes across multiple carriers, and close sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

The schedule runs 11am-8pm ET, four days a week plus Saturdays; training is full-time, with transitions to the full schedule after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• 1+ year selling auto and home insurance in a call center.
• Experience with multiple carriers and state coverages.
• Strong closing skills and customer focus.

Our licensed insurance agents are empowered to sell by using Polly’s cutting‑edge technology products.

Job Overview

As a Sales Center Agent here at Polly, you will analyze, advise, and sell personal lines insurance policies to customers, by:

• Handling an average of 150 inbound leads per month with motivated real-time car buyers (no cold calling)
• Navigate through multiple carrier systems while preparing & cross‑selling personalized quotes
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to our customers and clients
• Close sales at a strong conversion rate from your high inbound lead flow
• Foster an unmatched customer experience at every touchpoint

New Agent Schedule

• The Polly Sales Center is operational 9:00am – 8:00pm (EST); Monday – Friday and 10-7 on Saturdays
• New Agent Schedule is 11am-8pm ET, 4 days/week and every Saturday 10am-7pm ET
• Schedules will be assigned based on business needs and commence upon completion of full‑time training

Training

• During training, you’re expected to work full‑time and be logged in during training hours. You will work 8 hours a day (40 hours a week) and your training will consist of a mix of live sessions and independent time. Group training hours alternate weekly for 4 weeks and consist of 2 weeks of a Monday – Friday 10am-7pm ET schedule and 2 weeks of a Tuesday‑Saturday 10am-7pm ET schedule.Once training is complete, you will transition to your full time New Agent Schedule listed above.

Compensation

Our average performing agents have the opportunity to make 60k-85k in total compensation annually. Salary is based on location and experience

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A valid Property and Casualty insurance license
• 1+ year(s) of experience selling auto & home insurance in a call center
• Experience selling multiple carriers and multiple state coverages
• Persuasive; persistent and confident in closing a sale in fast paced setting
• Excellent communication, organization, and multi‑tasking skills
• Self‑initiative to continuously follow up with warm leads to drive deals to completion
• Dedicated, distraction‑free home workspace
• Maintain availability during assigned work hours to meet call volume and service expectations
• Adhere to assigned schedules, including evenings and Saturdays, based on business coverage needs
• Meet established productivity, quality, and performance standards
• Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously while actively engaged with customers
• All computer equipment is provided. Youmust be able to maintain department.Work at home (W@H) requirements whichinclude a professional workspace/room with adedicated desk
• Reliable high‑speed internet with wired connection (cable, fiber or DS) from a major ISP with a minimum of 25 Mpbs download and 10 Mbps upload are required; 50 Mbps of download / 25 Mbps upload (or higher) are recommended
• Experience with AMS360, PL Rater, and/or other rating tools preferred
