Job summary

Horace Mann invites you to join as an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Durham, NC. You will leverage a niche market, an exclusive territory, and cutting-edge technology to build a sustainable agency focused on affordable insurance solutions for educators.

You’ll work with a comprehensive multiline product portfolio and receive ongoing training while supported by a dedicated service representative to manage client service work. Strong networking and relationship-building are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities.
• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License, Property and Casualty License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators obtain affordable insurance and financial security.
