Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to own a defined territory, delivering tailored insurance and financial solutions for educators. You will leverage cutting-edge technology and dedicated support to build a growing agency and client base.

You will operate within a performance-based, 1099 compensation model, with incentives tied to activity and results in the first 48 months, supported by a dedicated service representative and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management abilities required.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Licenses listed (Life/Health/P&C) and regulatory compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators access affordable insurance and financial security.
• Achieve market access and build robust relationships with clients.
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
