Role Description

The Insurance Agent role at LHG Financial is an on-site position based in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, the agent meets with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance and retirement needs, explain available products, and recommend suitable solutions. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing illustrations and proposals, and assisting clients with applications and policy servicing. The agent maintains accurate records, collaborates with internal teams to process policies, and stays informed about industry trends and product updates to provide clear, educational guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly explain life insurance and retirement products and educate clients on options and benefits.
• Strong client relationship-building skills, including active listening, empathy, and a consultative, non-pressure approach.
• Solid sales and prospecting abilities, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing skills in a compliant manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts in simple terms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including maintaining detailed client records and managing multiple appointments.
• Comfort working with financial illustrations, basic math, and policy comparison tools.
• Proficiency with standard office software and CRM or agency management systems.
• State life and health insurance license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe).
