Qualifications

• Be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program for the duration of the internship.
• Coursework or expressed interest in Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including inquiries about insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
• Educate customers about insurance options using a needs-based review process.
• Communicate effectively to meet customer needs while supporting business growth.
