Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program for duration of internship.
• Coursework or interest in Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
• Ability to work in a team and also independently
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to build relationships
• Excellent prioritization and time management to meet deadlines with attention to detail
• Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty licensing

Responsibilities

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Educate customers about insurance options using a needs-based review process.
• Communicate effectively to meet customer needs while promoting business development.
