Job summary

Gate City Insurance Agency in Fargo is seeking an Insurance Agent to manage customer acquisition and retention by providing insurance products and advice aligned with customer needs. This on-site role operates 8-5, Monday through Friday, with base salary plus commission.

You will develop new client relationships, provide comprehensive insurance planning and risk management, and strive to exceed sales goals while maintaining licenses and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1–3 years Insurance or other sales/customer service experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current State Property and Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance Licenses within 60 days of employment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and use data for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products by establishing relationships and offering appropriate solutions.
• Develop new client relationships using various insurance products and services.
• Provide comprehensive insurance planning and risk management.
• Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, client retention and new relationships goals.
• Track activities, referrals, client contacts, and results for management.
