Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Nashville, TN is looking for a Business Insurance Account Manager I to cultivate client and carrier relationships, assist with renewal processes, and coordinate marketing and implementation tasks for assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, two years in insurance, relevant licenses, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A hybrid work model and occasional travel are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Two years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Appropriate insurance license(s).
• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person.
• Assist assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving.
• Support renewal processes for assigned clients and analyze coverage needs.
• Coordinate meetings to present renewals and options to clients.
• Prepare marketing information or provide required information to marketing.
• Schedule and conduct teammate meetings and complete implementations.
• Prepare and deliver all applicable forms to clients.
• Update client management system with policy activities and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative support on special projects and new ideas.
• Attend seminars and carrier meetings to stay updated on products and regulatory changes.
• Other duties as requested by management.
