Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks an entry-level Sales Agent Trainee who will be reclassified to Sales Agent after successful training. The role supports club growth by selling AAA memberships and insurance products from a District Office with onsite and offsite activities.

Responsibilities include educating members on AAA services, quoting rates, and maintaining compliance with underwriting guidelines. A strong focus on customer service and cross-selling across lines is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of insurance sales or service experience preferred but not required.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (or ability to obtain as required by state).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products using the fundamentals of Successful Sales Calls (SSC).
• Quote rates, qualify applicants, inspect vehicles or property, and complete required documentation in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
• Sell AAA memberships and promote club products and services.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals. Manage a pipeline of opportunities and meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of AAA products, services, and underwriting procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to support retention and member satisfaction.
• Ensure proper policy rating based on underwriting guidelines and client information.
• Service existing member policies in person, by phone, or through written communication.
• Process policy updates, cancellations, and changes accurately.
• Collect payments and maintain proper handling of company funds.
• Attend required meetings, training sessions, and complete all assigned administrative tasks.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer business across insurance, travel, and membership lines.
