Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association, Ltd seeks an Insurance Patient Account Representative to manage insurance A/R for assigned physicians. You will follow up on unpaid claims, investigate denials, and assist patients with balance explanations.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes, and independent work in a busy office. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and 401(k). This is a full-time position in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous insurance A/R experience preferred.
• Ability to understand an Explanation of Benefits and denial codes.

Responsibilities

• Examine and timely follow up on unpaid claims.
• Complete investigations and/or appeals of rejected or denied claims.
• Communicate with staff for claim corrections.
• Identify claims requiring managerial review and assistance.
• Assist patients in understanding insurance denials and cost sharing.
• Identify trends in denial/ rejection patterns.
• Make corrections to CPT/DX codes, referrals, and authorizations as directed by departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
