Job summary

StoryPoint Schererville is seeking a qualified Medication Aide (QMA) insulin certified to join our team. The role requires administering daily medications, verifying resident identity, and maintaining accurate medication records.

This on-site position offers day shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM), full-time hours, benefits, and PTO. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CMA certification, TB clearance, and CPR/First Aid; experience with elderly care and dementia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• CMA certification, TB clearance, and CPR/First Aid certifications are required or preferred as listed.
• Experience with elderly care and dementia awareness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in administering daily medication as ordered by physician.
• Verify resident identity before medication administration.
• Maintain medication records and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Keep the medication cart, room, and station clean and organized.
• Report discrepancies and changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with activities of daily living and dining as needed.
