Job summary

Bechtel is seeking Insulator Journeypersons for the Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas. You will apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial equipment and systems, reading drawings and specifications to ensure proper insulation installation.

The role requires experience with cryogenic materials and fireproofing techniques, with a focus on quality and safety on a major LNG project. Strong reading of isometric drawings and selecting insulation material will be important, along

Qualifications

• Experience applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply insulation on industrial equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Install cryogenic insulation materials such as aerogel or cellular glass.
• Finish insulated surfaces with mastics, vapor stops, or sealants.
• Coordinate with craft teams to ensure quality and safety on site.
