Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an Insulator/Metal Man/Fabricator to perform insulation work on pipes, ducts and mechanical systems on construction sites in Texas. You will measure, cut and install insulation, then seal and protect the material with covers as needed.

The role requires physical readiness, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work five days a week or as needed, including overtime. Prior construction or refinery experience is preferred and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• High school degree or diploma required.
• Construction/Refinery experience preferred.
• Organization and time management skills required.
• Must have good aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Good reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform insulation work on pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems to help control temperatures.
• Measure and cut insulation to required lengths and apply materials.
• Fasten insulation with adhesive, staples, tape or wire bands; install protective covers as needed.
• Wrap insulation with aluminum, plastic, or canvas covers when required and secure in place.
• Install protective metal around insulated sections to shield from weather and damage.
