Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
• Able to follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Must have required tools and reliable transportation.
• 4+ years as a multicraft worker on industrial construction.
• Able to work full schedule including overtime with minimal notice.
• Experience with insulation, painting, and scaffolding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine scope, materials, and sizes.
• Identify tools and materials required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions to mitigate them.
• Measure, mark, and cut insulation and wooden/metal materials.
• Fabricate, fit, and shape insulation for equipment or ducts.
• Identify and mix paint and coatings as required.
• Apply insulation and coatings using proper techniques.
• Work safely at heights on ladders and scaffolds.
• Clean up work areas.
