Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP is seeking an Insulation Fabrication Associate in Bartlett, IL to support production of low/high temperature insulation forms and blankets.

You will perform essential assembly tasks, cut materials to size, and help maintain a clean, safe work area, following established safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • High temperature insulation fabrication.
  • Assembly operation in cutting metal foil and fiberglass insulation to size.
  • Hand forming such skins, making cut-outs, or punching holes, assembling of matched foil skins and insulation layer.
  • Hooking and folding edges, fabricating stiffeners, and identification tags.
  • Cutting patches.
  • Tack welding seams, and spot welding of skins, stiffeners and patches.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

Performs various simple fabrication, process, and assembly operation in production of low and high temperature insulation forms, blankets, and related products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ability to perform high temperature thermal insulation fabrication.
  • Assembly operation in cutting metal foil and fiberglass insulation to size.
  • Hand forming such skins, making cut-outs, or punching holes, assembling of matched foil skins and insulation layer.
  • Hooking and folding edges, fabricating stiffeners, and identification tags.
  • Cutting patches.
  • Tack welding seams, and spot welding of skins, stiffeners and patches.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Annual Target Salary

$45,760

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 1st Shift 5:00am - 3:30pm
