The Goley Companies in Dupo, IL, via Goley Insulation, is seeking an Insulation Technician to join our growing team. This is a union contractor role delivering high-quality residential and commercial insulation solutions.

You will install batt or blown insulation, operate installation equipment, and collaborate with project managers and crews to meet specifications while upholding safety standards. Competitive pay and strong training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction, remodeling, or insulation installation experience.
• Ability to safely work in varied physical conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation (batt or blown) in residential and commercial buildings.
• Operate insulation blowing equipment, hand tools, and other installation machinery safely and efficiently.
• Work with project managers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure proper insulation placement and compliance with specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to building codes and project standards.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites and follow all safety protocols.

We’re currently seeking an Insulation Technician to join our growing team at Goley Insulation in Dupo, IL. This is an opportunity to work on projects that make a lasting impact—all while earning competitive pay and excellent union benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Install insulation (batt or blown) in residential and commercial buildings, including attics, walls, basements, and ceilings.
• Operate insulation blowing equipment, hand tools, and other installation machinery safely and efficiently.
• Work with project managers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure proper insulation placement and compliance with specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to building codes and project standards.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites and follow all safety protocols.

Working Conditions

• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform tasks at heights such as attics, ladders, scaffolding, and commercial ceilings.
• Enter tight or confined spaces, such as crawl spaces and mechanical rooms.
• Lift and carry insulation materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Required:

• Hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, or insulation installation.
• Ability to safely work in varied physical conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Preferred:

• Experience with blown-in, batt, or spray foam insulation.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices.
