Job summary

Anchor Insulation seeks a Mechanical Insulation Installer to join our field team in Massachusetts. You will install and jacket insulation on piping and equipment, ensuring a high level of finish for visible areas. You’ll read simple drawings, operate tools, and follow safety procedures on varied sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in insulation or related mechanical trade preferred but not required.
• Able to read and follow installation instructions and basic drawings.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on site needs.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Install fiberglass, urethane, and high-temperature insulation on piping, ducting, and system components.
• Apply PVC or metal jackets over insulation for durability and appearance.
• Ensure high fit and finish, especially in visible or customer-facing areas.
• Operate hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and securing insulation.
• Work on ladders, scaffolds, and lifts, following safety protocols.
• Use fall protection and PPE for elevated or hazardous sites.
• Report to job sites from home; limited office reporting.
• Adapt to various site schedules, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Complete tasks on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
