Job summary

Insulation Installer position available for an established insulation contracting company serving residential and commercial construction. The role focuses on installing fiberglass batt and blown-in insulation across walls, ceilings, attics, basements, and crawlspaces, following plans and job orders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insulation experience, is detail-oriented, and can work with a team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fiberglass insulation experience or relevant construction experience.
• Experience with fiberglass batt and/or blown-in insulation preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift approximately 50–75 lbs. as needed.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working in attics, crawlspaces, basements, confined spaces, and difficult-to-access areas.
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to designated job sites or company locations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install fiberglass batt insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, basements, crawlspaces, and other building cavities.
• Install blown-in fiberglass insulation using insulation blowing equipment as required.
• Measure, cut, fit, and secure insulation to ensure proper coverage and minimize gaps, voids, and compression.
• Read work orders, plans, and job specifications to determine insulation requirements.
• Load, unload, stage, and safely handle insulation materials and equipment.
• Safely operate insulation equipment, hand tools, utility knives, ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment.
• Work effectively with crew leaders, supervisors, general contractors, installers, and other trades.
• Identify and communicate job-site conditions or issues that could affect quality or completion.
• Maintain company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism.
• Drive company vehicles, ranging from pickup trucks to mid-sized box trucks, throughout the Tri-State Area.
