Job summary

Mooney & Moses is seeking an insulation installer to install fiberglass or rock wool batt insulation in exterior walls and ceilings. The work takes place across various job sites with a focus on safety and consistent quality.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and comfort with hand tools. Bilingual applicants are a plus; strong benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed.
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation.
• May be required to drive a company vehicle and follow DOT rules.
• Observe job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets.
