Green Star Plus Insulation in Indiana is hiring an Insulation Installer to install fiberglass or rock wool batt insulation in exterior walls and ceilings. The role involves varying daily tasks in different site conditions and requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

The position offers potential for growth, with emphasis on loading materials, using hand tools, and working in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year insulation installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Ability to work in tight spaces like attics and crawlspaces.
• Able to lift 50 lbs+ and climb ladders/scaffolding.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
• Cut insulation materials and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or using equipment.
• Possibly drive a company vehicle and maintain tools/truck.
• Follow safety rules and know location of MSDS packets.
