Builder Services Group, Inc. is looking for an Installer to join our team in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Installer will be responsible for installing insulation, fireplaces, gutters, and other products sold by TruTeam. The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

This role involves daily travel to job sites and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks. Benefits include competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $30.00 per hour, medical coverage, and paid time off.

• Install company products according to guidelines.
• Plan daily work schedule and load truck.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.

• Complete assigned tasks.

Job description

Position Overview

This Installer position involves installing insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors, shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by TruTeam.

Responsibilities

• Install company products according to work order, manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
• Plan daily work schedule, ensuring truck is loaded with products, tools, and equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job sites.
• Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
• Perform warehouse‑related duties as required.
• Complete any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation.

Travel Requirements

Local and out‑of‑town travel as required. Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Good hand‑eye coordination and hand dexterity. Lifting up to 50 pounds.
