Job summary

Installed Building Products (IBP) Panhandle is seeking hands-on individuals to assist with insulation installation and material handling at various sites. This role requires operating hand tools, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy materials while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with DOT rules when driving a company vehicle.

Experience with insulation installation is a plus, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Familiar with standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces.
• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Flexible with bending, twisting, and staying active.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to required height.
• Cut insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation.
• May drive a company vehicle and must follow DOT rules and maintain tools/truck.
• Observe job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets in your vehicle.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
• You may be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your tools/truck
• Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle

Role Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Installation experience is a plus
• Comfortable using standard hand tools
• Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces
• Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
• Able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Being Bilingual is a plus!
